Steps to ACTEA Accreditation and Application forms
The following are the “Guidelines for the Application Process” to the various levels of ACTEA accreditation, i.e., Correspondent; Affiliate; Candidacy; Associate; and Full Accreditation.
Correspondence Status.
ACTEA correspondent institutions are guaranteed a secure place on ACTEA’s special mailing lists, including all issues of the ACTEA eNews.
Affiliate Status
Affiliate Status gives a school full, but provisional, academic recognition by ACTEA. Affiliate status may last for a maximum of four years.
Candidacy Status
Candidacy Status guarantees an institution a secure place on ACTEA’s special mailing lists, including all issues of the ACTEA eNews.
Associate Status
Institutions accredited by ACTEA with Associate Status are represented at the ACTEA Council, the highest governance organ of the organization.
Full Accreditation Status
Fully accredited institutions are represented at the ACTEA Council, the highest governance organ of the organization.
