Our inaugural General Assembly will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 25–29 September 2023. Its theme will be “African Theological Education: Retrospect and Prospect.” It is appropriate at this juncture to both take a look back to see where we’ve come from and to look forward in hope to where we plan to go.

This consultation has been organized by the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) in partnership with ACTEA. AEA, along with several strategic theological and training organizations, have committed to working together to reach a 20% increase in trained pastors and church leaders across Africa in three years.

We invite emerging female scholars (less than 3 publications) to submit abstracts on a topic of their interest and choosing within the fields of missiology, theology, and biblical studies.
