Rev. Dr Master Matlhaope is the General Secretary of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA). He is originally from Botswana where he served as the president of the Evangelical Fellowship of Botswana (EFB). He is also a senior minister at the Pentecostal protestant church in Botswana. He has also served as a member of Botswana’s Advisory and Arbitration Council (AAC), a statutory and quasi-judicial body. Rev. Dr Master Matlhaope holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Practical Theology from North-West University (NWU)-Potchefstroom in South Africa. His first degree was in Bible and theology from the Global University (Missouri United States of America). Dr Matlahaope did his masters at Cape Theological Seminary – South Africa, where he majored in New Testament and minored in Leadership.
