Dr. Mbengu David Nyiawung, a Cameroonian Presbyterian minister, is President of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary (PTS), Kumba, where he has taught theology for 18 years. A New Testament exegete specializing in contextualization, he developed the “African Biblical Hermeneutic Approach” and led curriculum revision at PTS. He also founded and directs ICRIDEV, focusing on research, inter-religious dialogue, and development. He consults with Tearfund, serves on his church’s executive committee, lectures at the Protestant University of Central Africa, and is a founding member of RTAF. He coordinates the Shepherds Academy program at PTS and is ACTEA’s Regional Accreditation Officer for Francophone Africa. His research focuses on domestic violence, widows, and holistic African theological education.
