Dr Florence Muindi is the Founder and President of Life in Abundance (LIA) international a Nairobi-based faith-based non-profit working in 12 African and 2 Caribbean countries. LIA serves the poor and vulnerable through local churches and promotes a holistic mission globally. A public health specialist with cross-cultural service experience (including among the Maasai in Kenya and those affected by leprosy in Ethiopia), Dr. Muindi has been key to LIA’s development and expansion. She holds an Honorary Doctorate from Daystar University (where she is Chancellor) and has received awards for her integrity and service. An author and ordained minister, she is married to Dr. Festus Muindi and has three children. She frequently speaks internationally and serves on ministry boards.
