2023 Theo Global East Africa Conference

Theo Global East Africa is returning to Kenya in July 2023.

This year’s conference theme is Name Above All Names:  Identifying the Titles of Jesus for Today.  Papers will explore the titles and names assigned to Jesus.  From scripture we have Prophet, Priest, and King, together with Christ, Good Shepherd, Son of Man, and Son of God.  From historical theology we have Christus Victor.  More recently African Christian theologians have explored titles such as Ancestor and Chief.  In exploring these names and titles for Jesus we aim and pray to be sharpened in our understandings and articulations of and encouraged in our faith in Him.

Qualified theologians and scholars who hold doctoral degrees or who are currently pursuing a doctoral degree are invited to apply to attend .  ACTEA and Theo Global seek participants from the broadest range of evangelical denominations and strongly encourage female scholars to apply.  There will be no registration cost, but space is limited.  Applications should be submitted by 10 May 2023 at theoglobal.org/africa/.
